კრისტინა სემიონოვა და ოლგა ვასტრეცოვა არიან ლაიფციგში (გერმანია) მოღვაწე კურატორები. ორივე სწავლობს ვიზუალური ხელოვნების აკადემიაში (Academy of Visual Arts) საკორატორო საქმეს, სამაგისტრო პროგრამაზე.

ოგლა ვასტრეცოვა მუშაობდა GfZk-ში (Gallery for Contemporary Art) სტიპენდიით, რომელიც განკუთვნილია ახალგაწრდა კურატორებისთვის აღმოსავლეთ ევროპიდან. იგი იყო კურატორი გამოფენებისა Drawing protest (GfZk), RESPECT. International Comics (ფესტივალი KomMissia, მოსკოვი), The Subjective Object – (Re) Appropriating Anthropological Images (GRASSI, ლაიპციგი).

2012 წ-დან კრისტინა სემიონოვა არის სახელოვნებო რაზიდენციის LIA-ს ( Leipzig International Art Programme) პროგრამის კოორდინატორი და კურატორი, რომელიც მდებაროებს Spinnerei-ში. იგი იყო კურატორი გამოფენებისა Sender (HKW, ბერლინი), Revisiting the Space (VCCA-Voronezh Center for Contemporary Art, რუსეთი), Figure Outing (Castle Machern). 2013 წ-ს ისინი ერთად კურირებდნენ Space LAB - ხელოვენთა რეზიდენიციას და გამოფენას, რომელიც დაკავშირებული იყო Spinnerei-ს ისტორიულ სივრცესთან.

ამ კოლაბორაციის შემდეგ მათ დააარსეს და ერთად უძღვებიან სახელოვნებო სივრცეს Бükü - კულტურის თარგმანითა ბიუროს. Бükü  არის ინტერდისციპლინარული პლატფორმა, ორინტირებული თანამედოვროვე ხელოვნებაში მოღვაწე ხელოვანების ხედვაზე და დებატებიზე ყოფილი საბჭოთა სივრციდან მთელი თავისი გავლენებით, განსხვავებებით და ურთიერთდამოკიდებულებით. ეს  არის როგორც, თანამედროვე ხელოვნების შექმნის და პრეზენტაციის სივრცე, ასევე განკუთვნილია თანამედროვე თეორიისა და პოლემიკისთვის, სადაც ხორციელდება დისკურსიული ღონისძიებები, სახელოვნებო რეზიდენციები და ეწყობა თანამედროვე ხელოვნების გამოფენები.

Kristina Semenova and Olga Vostretsova are curators based in Leipzig, Germany. Both are participants of postgraduate MA Curatorial Studies at Academy of Visual Arts.

Olga Vostretsova worked at GfZk- Gallery for Contemporary Art with the grant for young curators from Eastern Europe. She curated Drawing protest (GfZk), RESPECT. International Comics (Festival KomMissia, Moscow), The Subjective Object – (Re) Appropriating Anthropological Images (GRASSI, Leipzig).

Kristina Semenova is since 2012 program coordinator and curator of the artist’s residency LIA - Leipzig International Art Programme located in Spinnerei. She curated Returning to Sender (HKW, Berlin), Revisiting the Space (VCCA-Voronezh Center for Contemporary Art, Russia), Figure Outing (Castle Machern). Together they curated 2013 Space LAB - artist residency and exhibition dealing with historical space of Spinnerei. 

After this collaboration they have founded art space in Leipzig Бükü  - Office for cultural translations which they run together. Бükü is an interdisciplinary platform focusing on the contemporary artists’ positions and debate from post-Soviet area with all its influences, differences and interdependency. It is a place for production and presentation of contemporary art, as well as contemporary theory and polemics which are implemented by discursive events, artist residencies and curated exhibitions. www.buekue.eu
