ჰოლანდიელი ხელოვანები და არა-აკადემიური თავისუფალი მკვლევარები რობ ჰამელინკი და ნინკე ტერპსმა ცნობილნი არიან, როგორც პერიოდული გამოცემის Fuking Good Art-ის რედაქტორები, რომლის საწყისი იდეაა პუბლიკაცია 'ხელოვნების პოზიტიურ კრიტიკაზე' DIY (თვითნაკეთ) სტილში. იგი დაარსდა 2003 წელს და წარმოაგენს ბეჭდვით ან/და ინტერნეტ გამოცემას.

პირველი გამოცემის შემდეგ, ფოკუსი გადავიდა იმაზე, თუ რა ხდება თავად ნამუშევრის და გამოფენის ირგვლივ, სახელოვნებო სივრცის მიღმა კონტექსტსა და კულტურულ პოლიტიკაზე. ყოველთვის ძალიან სპეციფიკური, ინდივიდუალური, ანეკდოტური გზისკვლევა და ძალისხმევაა საჭირო რათა გაიგო, გაიზიარო და შეუერთდე ზოგად ურთიერთგაგების კონსტრუირებას.

FGA-ი ხელოვნების კვლევის კარგ ფორმად გამოდგა. FGA არის კოლექტიური ძალისხმევა: ყოველ გამოცემაზე მუშაობს სხვადასხვა ჯგუფი, ორგანულად მზარდი (და კუმშვადი) ხელოვანთა, მწერალთა და კურატორთა ქსელი, რომელთაც სხვადასხვა საფუძველი გააჩნიათ იმასთვის, რომ წერონ ხელოვნებაზე, გაუზიარონ ცოდნა, დაკვირვებები და გაახმაურონ ინსტიტუციონალური კრიტიკა.

წარსულში FGA მოკლე თუ ხანგრძლივი პერიოდით ფუძნდებოდა სხვადასხვა ქალაქებში: მიუნხენში, ბერლინში, დრეზდენში, რიგაში, კოპენჰაგენში, ციურიხში, სან პაოლოში, რათა ემუშავათ FGA-ის გამოცემებზე ადგილობრივ კონტექსტზე დაყრდნობით და ყოველთვის შემოქმედთა და მწერალთა ახალ კოლექტივთან ერთად. ამ სახელოვნებო გაერთიანებების მუდმივი თანამონაწილეობრივი გამოკვლევის შედეგად FGA-ის გამოცემები ქვეყნდებოდა როგორც წიგნის, ასევე A3 ბროშურის, ხოლო ზოგჯერ პლაკატის, ინტერნეტ რადიოს, ფოტოს და ვიდეო ნამუშევრის სახით.

15 აგვისტომდე საქართველოს ბანკის ფასადზე (პეკინის გამზ.14, თბილისი) შეგიძლიათ ნახოთ Fucking Good Art-ის ვიდეო ნამუშევრის "sharing a view" („თვალთახედვა“) პირველ ვერსია. ნამუშევარი ფართო საზოგადოებას სთავაზობს რამოდენიმე ხედს საავტომობილო გზების ყოფილი სამინისტროს ფანჯრებიდან.

Dutch artists and non-academic free-style researchers Rob Hamelijnck and Nienke Terpsma are best known as editors of Fucking Good Art, a periodic that started as a publication for'positive art critique'in a do-it-yourself style. It was founded in 2003,and is published both on paper and online,and some issues on paper or online.

After the first issues the focus shifted more and more to what happens around the work and the exhibition itself, on the context and cultural politics behind the art world, always navigating between the very specific, individual, anecdotal, and an effort to gain, share and join in the construction of some general understanding.

Fucking Good Art has proved to be a good tool to report on this art research. FGA is a collaborate effort; each edition is compiled by a different team, an organically growing (and shrinking) network of artists,writers and curators who have different reasons for writing about art, for sharing knowledge and observations, and for voicing institutional criticisms.

In the past FGA settled for shorter or longer periods in, among other places, Münich, Berlin, Dresden, Riga, Kopenhagen, Zürich and Sao Paulo to make editions of FGA on the basis of the local context, and always in a new collective of makers & thinkers. In this ongoing participating investigation of artistic communities Fucking Good Art editions appeared in book format as well as humble A3 pamphlets, and also sometimes posters,web radio, photo works and video.

Rob Hamelijnck and Nienke Terpsma will participate in a project by Joanna Warsza Frozen Moments: Architecture Speaks Back.

Until 15th of August you have a possibility to see a first version of video "sharing a view" by Fucking Good Art. It is screened on the facade of Georgian Bank, Pekini Avenue 14, Tbilisi, and offers some views from the windows of The Former Ministry of Highways of Georgian Soviet Socialist Republic to a bigger audience.

The Artist Pension Trust თრუსტ ხელოვანთათვის გრძელვადიანი ფინანსური დაგეგმვის პირველი პროგრამაა. ტრადიციული ფინანსური შენატანის მაგივრად, ხელოვანებს მათი საკუთარი ნაშრომების ინვესტირებასა და შეგროვებას სთავაზობენ რეგიონისთვის სპეციფიკური კოლექციის სახით, რომელშიც, საბოლოო ჯამში 5000 ხელოვნების ნიმუშიც შეიძლება გაერთიანდეს. რვავე სატრასტო ორგანიზაცია რეგიონალურ საკურატორო საბჭოსთან თანამშრომლობით 250 ხელოვანს ირჩევს 5-წლიანი ვადით. თითოეული მონაწილე ხელოვანი 20 ნამუშევარს გასცემს 15-20 წლით, რაც მას საკუთარი შემოქმედების ამსახველი კოლექციის შექმნის შესაძლებლობას აძლევს.


November Paynter is director of the Artist Pension Trust, Dubai and an independent curator based in Istanbul. Recently she helds the positions of Curator at Platform Garanti Contemporary Art Center, Istanbul. She has been an Assistant Curator of the 9th International Istanbul Biennial and Consultant Curator at Tate Modern for the exhibition Global Cities. Paynter regularly writes for art periodicals including Bidoun, Artforum and ArtReview magazines, as well as for artist and exhibition publications.

Paynter’s curatorial projects generally focuses on working with artists from the broad region that surrounds Turkey, therefore it is vital for her to become acquainted with the art scenes of the Caucasus countries in order to incorporate artists from Caucausus in her future projects. There is the potential to involve artists from these countries in my future curatorial projects that I am developing for various exhibition spaces including Platform Garanti in Istanbul.

The Artist Pension Trust is the first long-term financial planning programme for artists, whereby rather than make a conventional financial commitment, artists are invited to invest and build a collection of their own works of art within a region specific collection that in total might eventually comprise 5000 works of art. All eight trusts work with a regionally experienced curatorial committee to select 250 artists over a period of five years and all the participating artists commit 20 works over a 15 - 20 year period in order to create a representative collection of their own career.

ევა ხაჩატრიანი დაიბადა 1977 წელს ერევანში, სადაც იგი ცხოვრობს და მოღვაწეობს. ევა ხაჩატრიანი დამოუკიდებელი კურატორი და AICA (საერთაშორისო არტ კრიტიკოსთა გაერთიანება) სომხეთის წევრია. 2003-08 წლებში ხაჩატრიანი კურატორად მუშაობდა თანამედროვე ექსპერიმენტული ხელოვნების სომხურ ცენტრში (ACCEA). 2006-08 წლებში კი იგი ამავე ცენტრის ვიზუალური ხელოვნების დირექტორის მოადგილე იყო. ამჟამად იგი თავის პროექტებს Suburb კულტურის ცენტრში ახორციელებს. ხაჩატრიანი არის http://artnews.am ვებ-გვერდის თანადამფუძნებელი, რომელზეც თვეში ერთხელ სომხეთის თანამედროვე ხელოვნების სივრცეში მიმდინარე მოვლენებზე ახალი ინფორმაცია იტვირთება. მისი უახლესი კურატორიული საქმიანობა გენდერის და ახალი მედიებს თემას ეთმობა.
თავის პრეზენტაციაზე ევა ხაჩატრიანი განიხილავს სომხეთის ინსტიტუციონალურ სივრცეში თანამედროვე ხელოვნების რეპრეზენტაციის თემას. იგი ისაუბრებს სხვადასხვა ორგანიზაციების, კერძო პირების და კულტურული ოპერატორების საქმიანობის შესახებ, რომელთაც დიდი წვლილი მიუძღვით სომხეთის თანამედროვე სახელოვნებო სივრცის ფორმირებაში. პრეზენტაციისას ასევე ნაჩვენები იქნება სომხეთში მცხოვრები ხელოვანების ნამუშევრები.


Representation of Contemporary Art in Armenia.

Eva Khachatryan was born in 1977 in Yerevan, Armenia, where she lives and works. She an independent curator and member of AICA Armenia. Between 2003-2008 she was working as a curator at the Armenian Center for Contemporary Experimental Art (ACCEA) and between 2006-2008 she was holding position of co-director of Department of Fine Arts at the ACCEA. At the moment she is realizing her projects at the Suburb Cultural Center. She is the co-founder of the new web site http://artsnews.am, which is updated per month and focused on representation of contemporary art situation in Armenia. Her recent curatorial work has been mostly on women‘s issues and new media in contemporary art.

During the talk Eva Khachatryan will explore the representation of Contemporary art in Armenia through institutional environment. She will describe activities of some of the organizations and individuals, cultural operators, which play important role in formation of contemporary art scene. During presentation will be shown also some works of artists based in Armenia.

სელდა ასალი, დაიბადა იზმირში, მოღვაწეობს სტამბულში. მან მუსიკის თეორია და ვიზუალური ხელოვნება ისწავლა. სელდა ასალმა ჩამოაყალიბა ‘აპარტმენტ პროექტი’ (“Apartment Project”) სტამბულში.
2006 წლიდან სელდა ასალი მუშაობს ვიდეო და აუდიო პროექტებზე, რომელ თაც იგი თინეიჯერებთან ერთად თურქეთში, გერმანიაში, დანიაში, საფრანგეთში, შვედეთში, ირანში, აზერბაიჯანში, თურქეთში და საქართველოში ანხორციელებს. ამ ვიდეო ნამუშევრებს სხვადასხვა სათაურები აქვთ, მაგრამ ერთი კონცეფცია აერთიანებთ: მათი მთავარი თემა ახალგაზრდების ოცნებები და სირთულეებია. ასალი ახალგაზრდებთან ვორკშოპს ატარებს, სადაც ისინი ტექსტებზე მუშაობენ, ეს ტექსები ახალგაზრდების რეალობას ასახავს, ამის შემდეგ ასალი მათ რედაქტირებას უკეთებს. შემდეგ ამ ახალი ტექსტით და მუსიკით იგი ახალ ნამუშევარს, მუსიკალურ ვიდეოს ქმნის. ხელოვანი თვითოეულ პროექტზე სხვადასხვა მუსიკოსთან თანამშრომლობს.

თბილისიში სელდა ასალი გეოერის (GeoAIR) დაპატიჟებით 2010 წლის აპრილს ჩამოვიდა. აქაც მან სამუშაოდ თბილისელი ახალგაზრდები მოიწვია. ვირკშოპების მეშვეობით ამ ახალგაზრდებმა ასალთან ერთად ახალი ვიდეო ნამუშევარი შექმნეს, რომელიც მათ რეალობას ასახავს. ასალმა ეს პრეოქტი მუსიკოს ჯემ აკკანთან ერთად განახორციელა.


Selda Asal is an artist, born in Izmir. She studied Musicology and Art. Initiator of the “Apartment Project” in Istanbul. Currently living in Istanbul.

Since the year 2006, Selda Asal has been producing projects consisting of video films, sound installations and music videos by working with teenagers in Turkey, Germany, Denmark , France, Sweden, Iran, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia etc... The videos have different titles, but conceptually they all focus on dreams and struggles. The artist creates workshop spaces in order to collaborate with youngsters on texts focusing on dreams and struggles and then prepares a new collage text from parts of what they have written. This collage text forms the lyrics of the video works. The music in the videos is produced in collaboration with different musicians each time and the final work is filmed by the artist.

In Tbilisi, she has been invited by GeoAIR residency for one month, during April 2010. Here too she focused on Tbilisi’s young people from different backgrounds. Through workshops her digital film is shaped by these young people according the stories they tell, their wills and circumstances. In Tbilisi Selda Asal worked with the sound designer Cem Akkan.

სონია შიონბერგერი - გერმანელი ხელოვანი, მუშაობს ვიზუალური ხელოვნების სხვადასხვა დარგში: ვიდეო, პერფორმანსი, მხტვრობა და ქარგვა. იგი სწავლობდა სოციალურ ანტროპოლოგიას და ფილოსოფიას ბერლინსა და ციურიხში, ვიზუალურ ხელოვნებას ამსტერდამის რიტფელდის აკადემიაში და ექსპერიმენტულ ხელოვნებას ბერლინში.

26 მარტს, გოეთეს ინსტიტუტში, სონია შიონბერგერი წარადგენს ახალ პროექტს, რომელზეც იგი მუშაობდა თბილისში, გეოეარ-ის რეზიდენციაში ყოფნის დროს. გარდა ამისა, იგი ისაუბრებს ზოგადად თავის ხელოვნებაზე, რომელშიც იგი იყენებს ახალი ამბების ფოტო მასალას, რათა ხელოვნების მეშვეობით შეცვალოს ჩვენ ცხოვრებაში სულ უფრო და უფრო შემოჭრილი პრესის გამოსახულებები. ქარგვით, და ამის შედეგად აღქმული გამოსახულების კონტექსტის შეცვლით, იგი ცდილობს მისცეს მაყურებელს ხელმეორედ დაკვირვების საშუალება და გაზარდოს ზოგადად ჩვენ ყოველდღიურ ყოფაში მედიის გამოყენების შეგნება. სონია შიონბერგერის ვიდეო ნამუშევრებში ძირითადი თემაა მხატვრის გარემომცველი სამყაროს ყოველდღიურობის და ბანალურობის გააზრება და გამოყენება.

Sonya Schönberger, German visual artist, working with video, photography, performance, drawing and stitching. She Studied Social Anthropology and Philosophy in Berlin and Zürich, Visual Art at the Rietveld Academie Amsterdam, Experimental Mediadesign at the University of Arts Berlin.
On March 26th, Sonya Schönberger will be presenting her new project, on which she worked during her residency at GeoAIR in Tbilisi. Besides she will be talking about her artistic work in general, for which she uses images sourced from news media to reverse the process of an emerging press image through handicrafts. By stitching and with this changing the context of the image that she perceives, she attempts to let the audience look again and enhance awareness of the use of media in general in our daily life. Another major topic in her work is using and reflecting on the everyday of her surroundings in her video works.

After the presentation everybody can join the artist for some drinks and music at Cafe-Galerea Perovze (N15 Akhvlediani (Perovskaia) Street. Tbilisi)

ჰოლანდიელი რინკე ენგჰარტის სურვილია, ხელოვნების მეშვეობით რეალობის მრავალმხრივობა ასახოს. ენგჰარტის 1991 წლის პროექტი Hope Box (HBX) ერთი პროექტის ფარგლებს გაცდა და გრძელვადიან პროცესად იქცა. მას შემდეგ ამ პრექტში სხვადასხვა ქვეყნის ასობით ხელოვანმა მიიღო მონაწილეობა. HBX მასში მონაწილე მხატვრის და მაყურებლის როლს ერთმანეთისგან არ ანსხვავებს, მასში ჩაბმა ყოველთვის შესაძლებელია და ის სულ ღიაა ინტერაქციისთვის. Hope Box-ის ანგელოზები სხვადასხვა სახით ყოველთვის მოძრაობაში არიან, მათ არ აკმაყოფილებთ ვირტუალური ინფორმაცია, არამედ სოცილალურ სივრცეში თავისი წვლილის შესატანად იღწვიან.

Rienke Enghardt aims to employ art in a manner faithful to the diversity of reality. In 1991 she created Hope Box (HBX for short) that started as a single project and has grown into a process that hundreds of artists from dozens of courtiers have participated to. HBX is to its artists, what it is to its observers: a non-exclusive, open-faced interaction. Hope Box Angels hold a variety of passports and are in constant motion, not satisfied with virtual information but in need of sensual and social phenomenological input.

Nicky Larkin is Irish video-artist, photographer and painter. His work is concerned with empty spaces and bleak aesthetic environments. He is interested in the grim places, places where aesthetic value is no longer viewed as important or enforced.
